Tara graduated from Syracuse University in 2019 with a Bachelors in Architecture. Tara’s passion for architecture started at a young age when her mother’s own passion for design sparked her interst. Tara grew up in Amman, Jordan and interned there at Rula Sunna Architects during her college summers. Her architectural thesis at Syracuse, ‘Architectural Ecotone - Edge Conditions’, explored the symbiotic relationships between architecture and surrounding ecosystems in extreme climate via implimenting traditional vernacular design into the contemporary needs of the ecosystems today. She did her VC studio in New York City for a semester where she got to explored all the Boroughs to get a deeper insight into all the different pieces that make up a culturally diverse city and its architectural fabric. She is a new resident to Cambridge and brings to SKA an enthusiasm and diverse design aesthetic grounded in modern practice and environmental consciousness.
