Mike came to architecture through a life of taking things apart and putting them back together. Puzzles are his passion. He graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Architecture. His educational and professional focuses are in urban design, community development, and human scaled environments. He has previously worked in residential design at Abacus Architects & Planners; followed by larger scale planning at Chan Krieger Sieniewicz; and then on to municipal, industrial, and commercial design at Winter Street Architects. Mike has returned to his roots at SKA and is happily lending his skillset in construction techniques, synthesizing building systems, and implementing honest and playful design to the office and all the projects he works on. Mike’s goal always is to find the best solution to a given problem, listening with an open mind, and understanding that there are often many different ways to realize the client’s vision.
