Sam has more than 20 years of experience in architecture and construction management in firms in Boston and Aspen. After discovering his passion for architecture at five years old, Sam earned a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from Syracuse University. As the principal of the firm, he brings an innovative approach design by fusing his knowledge of how to build with the latest developments in technology. Sam has a proven track record of successfully guiding projects and their teams through complex processes to achieve design visions on schedule and within budget. As a long time active member in the Greater Boston design and construction industry, Sam founded SKA in 2008 in his home neighborhood Huron Village, based on his experience in and love of Cambridge residential design. He leads SKA with an enthusiastic focus on New England pragmatism, authentic materials, and beautiful construction.
